The legendary Dragon Fruit is a Fruit that appears rarely in Classic Mode. Because of this, it has no true pattern that has yet been discovered and appears at random times. When you slice it, you gain 50 points and the words "Ultra Rare" appears. (picture below).
There is an achievement for slicing the Dragon Fruit and the King Dragon Blade is unlocked for slicing it.
It does not appear in Zen Mode, Arcade Mode or Fruit Ninja Frenzy.
Unlike any other fruit thrown in Classic Mode, it is thrown from the left or right of the screen, while all other fruit in Classic is thrown from the bottom of the screen upwards.

Trivia
- It is not known whether you can get a critical on a Dragon Fruit. If so, it is likely that you will get 60 points.
- The Dragon Fruit can be gotten in the Arcade Mode with the use of third party programs.
